Counterpoint: The Trials of Public Diplomacy, 11 April 2007

A conference held on 11 April 2007 organised by Counterpoint, the  cultural relations think-tank of the British Council, in association with Libertas: The Centre for the study of US Foreign Policy, Media and Culture. In view of the ongoing attempts to define the role of public diplomacy in contemporary foreign policy, this conference for academics and practitioners, sought to analyse the tensions which are central to this debate.
